The Peral submarine was developed in the late 19th century by Spanish engineer and naval officer Isaac Peral. Launched in 1888, it became the first fully electric military submarine capable of navigating underwater, maintaining a controlled depth, and launching torpedoes while submerged.

The submarine incorporated several advanced features, including a torpedo tube, a periscope, an air regeneration system, and an innovative automatic depth-control device.

Despite its success, the project was abandoned in 1890 due to political opposition and skepticism within the Spanish Navy. Today, the submarine survives as a preserved artifact at the Cartagena Naval Museum in Spain, representing one of the most forward-thinking naval designs of its era.

The poster includes labeled callouts identifying the submarine’s external features and a detailed breakdown of its internal systems.

Printed in high resolution (300 DPI) and measuring 20" x 30", this large poster was created by Deconstructed using our meticulously crafted 3D model. Each poster is shipped in a protective cardboard tube to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
